Glacial Trekking

Panchachuli Base Camp Trek

Trek through the pristine Darma Valley to the snout of the Meola Glacier, right under the shadows of the five majestic peaks of Panchachuli.

6 Days / 5 Nights Moderate Pithoragarh Start

Under the Shadows of the Five Chariots of Fire

The Panchachuli range consists of five snow-capped Himalayan peaks lying in the Eastern Kumaon region. This trek leads you along the Dhauliganga river into Darma Valley, crossing remote border villages, green birch forests, and glacial streams to stand right at the base of these towering giants at 4,260 meters.

Because this trek ventures close to the Tibetan border, it remains pristine and rich in tribal heritage. As native guides from Pithoragarh, we manage all forest department permit fees, provide high-quality camping gear, arrange rugged 4x4 Boleros, and introduce you to authentic tribal homestays (see what's included for details).
