How to Reach

1. From Gunji/Nabi Homestay Base: On Day 4 of the yatra, drive from the Nabi/Gunji homestay further up the Vyas Valley towards the Nabidhang meadow and ITBP post.
2. Nabidhang Viewpoint (4,246m): This is the designated Om Parvat viewpoint. Pilgrims alight from the vehicle and walk 50”“100 metres to the viewing area. The OM on the peak face is clearly visible on clear mornings.
3. Early Morning Recommended: Clouds often build up after 10:00”“11:00 AM at this altitude. Arriving at Nabidhang by 7:00”“9:00 AM maximises chances of a clear darshan.
4. Via Rudraansh Yatra Package: Om Parvat darshan is integrated into the 4-day itinerary of all Adi Kailash packages (on Day 3 or Day 4 depending on the package). No separate booking needed.

Best Time to Visit

Om Parvat darshan is best from May to mid-June and September to October. Post-monsoon October months typically offer the clearest skies, giving the most vivid view of the OM snow formation on the dark rock face. Monsoon season (July”“August) brings heavy cloud cover and restricted visibility. The route is completely closed in winter due to snowfall blocking the Chialekh Pass from the valley side.
